When we can let go of our own goals, ambitions, and security, we can find the courage to let God do with us what He wills. His will is our ultimate goal in life as we pray, "Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
The other end of the life spectrum is death.dealing with deathit requires an immense amount of strength and courage. Death is often a reality that affects us through family, friends, acquaintances, and sometimes even complete strangers.
For believers, our mortal death brings us to life with our heavenly Father. Here lies our true citizenship. This is the kind of courage we are called to seek, a courage that says, "O death, where is your sting?" because we know that our lives are entirely in God's hands. It is the same courage that David had against Goliath, Daniel in the lions' den, and Moses against Pharaoh.
