Candace is best used as a support unit on your team. Her personal damage isn't impressive even after capturing all of Candace's constellations. LikesIn the city, Candace only scales with her Max HP on her Skill and Burst, which trivializes a lot of her weapon options since ATK has no effect on her damage in most cases.
What sets Candace apart from any other character is her hydroinfusion for melee weapons (polearms, firearms, swords). No other character specifically offers this to Hydro.
- bennett, at C6, infuses melee weapons with pyrotechnics when using his burst.
- chongyunimbues melee weapons with Cryo when using his ability.
- Keqingimbues his own sword with electricity when using his ability
- Kazuha, at C6, imbues his own sword with Anemo.
Candace, like many recently released characters, is restricted by extreme energy charge requirements, and her blast is the most important part of Candace's charge. As such, being able to use Elemental Burst from her once she's off cooldown is absolutely essential to a successful game. with her,even if you force them to be a field DPS.For this reason, it is recommended to use a Spear of Favonius to reduce your energy needs while powering up the rest of the party, an underrated support tool.

Your constellations improve your personal damage, increase your Hydro application rate, and increase the duration of your Hydro Infusion and normal attack bonus.
This is what your stats should look like in general:
- 30%+ critical rate to ensure Favonius Lance can trigger his passive (ideally up to 75% if you're concerned about damage)
- More than 200% energy recharge if not paired with another Hydro character. 220% are satisfactory. When paired with another Hydro character and Favonius Lance, its ER requirements are reduced to 180%.
- Double Critical Damage as Critical Rate, but not much else. (This is a general rule forALLSign). Maintain a balance of 1;2. It doesn't matter if your critics hit hard if you never criticize!
- HP as high as you can push itafter thisER needs are met. If you are forcing Candace to play the field, using a % arena ATK is fine if the cooldown requirements are met.
Information about Genshin Candace's talents and priorities
upAllof Candace's damage comes from her ability followed by her explosion. Normal attacks aren't impressive and often take a long time to do little damage. Skill Meter and Nilou Burstclean with your Max HPmidoes not benefit from high ATK stats or ATK buffs.Normal attacks are the only part of his kit that can do that.disapproving gesturescale with ATK.
In either case, your talent priority should be as follows:
- elemental blast
- elemental skill
- normal attack
Candace's basic attack hits up to 4 times and is usually quite weak. I do not recommend using it or leveling the talent.
His Elemental Burst deals decent hydro damage to the cast and up to three additional instances (four total) every time a party member switches. It also provides the active character with a basic attack buff (20% or more based on Candace's HP) and an infusion of water. It should be noted that the active character, even if not wielding a melee weapon, still benefits from the increase in basic attack. The normal attack buff is usually between 30 and 40 total.

Hydroinfusion has several valuable uses.
Normal attacks are physical attacks, but many Hydro units have a percentage of Hydro DMG to maximize their damage. When normal attacks are made, they benefit from your Chalice, often dealing much more than 30-40% bonus damage.
Xingqiuis an excellent example of this. With a hydroinfusion, Xingqiu could even play the role of one.in the countrysideDPS instead of pure damage on the backline.
Pyro Attacks are typically designed to induce vapor reactions that deal 50% increased damage when hitting an enemy affected by Hydro. When a Pyro character has Hydro Infusion, he can auto-attack while the ability and explosion continue to deal Pyro damage, allowing for more vaporization reactions to occur.
Xianglingis an example of a character who likes a character's quick hydro application likeClass🇧🇷 Candace's Hydro Infusion allows Xiangling to switch out instead of dealing damage to the rear.
On a Cryo DPS, infusing Hydro can cause a slight freeze reaction, though it doesn't directly improve damage.
Dendro's characters can take control of Bloom's reactions when they can deal damage to Hydro and Dendro, eliminating the risk of placing items on a downed enemy.Viajero Dendrois the only example of this at the time of writing this article.
Candace's ability has two versions, tap and hold. It is very similar to a "counter attack".Beidoumide yunjinKnock is an instant attack that releases a small amount of elemental particles, while holding it raises a shield and protects against damage based on Candace's max HP. On cast, when fully charged, or when hit by enemies, it deals increased damage and generates an additional elemental particle.

It's usually best to take advantage of Candace's ability at the right time, or just stop maintaining the ability altogether.
Finally, Candace's passive talent reduces stamina consumption when climbing in the overworld.
Best Genshin Candace Character Builds
There are three ways to organize Candace's stats.
- Field DPS that focuses on %ATK, %DMG and %CRIT (after meeting ER requirements), using his Hydro Infusion for his own basic attacks(not recommended)
- DPS off the field, focusing on more HP%, DMG% and CRIT% (after meeting ER requirements) and dealing damage with his burst off the field, as well as helping his teammates.(RECOMMENDED)
- Pure support, focusing on nothing more than HP% (after meeting ER requirements) and supporting your teammates as much as possible at the cost of giving up personal damage(Good for a "budget")
Depending on your preferences, this changes the selection of artifacts and (to some degree) the selection of weapons.
Querida Waffen Genshin Candace
It's hard for Candace to build a hierarchy of weapons, since personal damage isn't really relevant to her use cases. He only wants to focus on damage if he already has the backup weapon nearby, really likes the character, or forces him to play a DPS role on the field.

Favonio Lanze (R1-R5) | Base-EL 454 || Energy level 61.3% unexpected harvest CRIT hits have a 60-100% chance to spawn a small amount of elemental particles that regenerate 6 energy to the character. It can only happen once every 12-6 s. Staff of Scarlet Sands / Staff of Homa / Primal Spear of Jade Wings | Base-ANG 542 || CRIT taxa 44.1%Heat haze at the end of the horizon The character who equips it gains 52% of their Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK. When an elemental skill hits opponents, Dream of Crimson Sands' effect activates for 10 seconds: the character who equips it gains 28% of their elemental skill as bonus ATK. Maximum 3 batteries. Even without looking at the passive, this is reminiscent of Primordial Jade Cutter's stats, making it a powerful stat in its own right. However, the difference in damage in a 20 second rotation between a Spear of Favonius and the staff is only around 3000-12000 total damage (depending on team role) in favor of the staff. The team utility of even an R1 Favonius Lance can actually add up to more team DPS when using a proper damage calculator. Primordial Jade Winged Spear and Staff of Homa have similar rankings compared to Favonius, so I won't list them below. |

Unless you fish or have one lying around and don't want to bother with a gun, this is the bare minimum for 4 stars. |
Black Tassel (R1-R5) | Base-EL 354 || CV 46.9% curse of the smooth Increases DMG against Slimes by 40%-80%. Since Candace's ATK value doesn't matter and this is the only weapon with %HP, it can be used if the energy charge requirements are met. If you don't have one, wish it on a banner or open chests! |
Dear Artifact Genshin Candace
The main stats of your artifacts should be the following:
- Sands: Energy load or HP%
- Caliz: Hydro DMG% or HP%
- Maduro: CRIT Taxa/Dano o HP%
Candace's physique is pretty standard. One often wants support as well.noneDamage, but if you don't get good secondary stats, you can throw pieces of HP% at Candace and leave it. It depends on how much you want to invest in it.
Choosing Candace's artifact set is trickier as it changes drastically with her build.

The difference between the 2-piece sets is minimal. So if you can't get another 4 piece set, just use the artifacts with the best secondary stats, though the 4 piece emblem is 8-10% better than any other 2 piece set you can put together, thanks to the high level of Candace. If you're not focused on raw damage, it's okay to go for these 4-star artifacts, as they still provide valuable utility to the team. Instructor increases team elemental reactions, Exile strengthens his team, and the 5-star Noblesse Oblige set is his trademark. Almost any team can benefit from a Noblesse Obliger 4-piece rack.

All three options here have roughly the same damage numbers after keeping all other variables the same. The first two focus on buffing normal attacks, which is what you need to use when playing Candace on the field.
Candace's constellations

Candace's constellations give her valuable bonuses to both damage and item application.
- The return of the heir to the Scarlet Sands:Increases the duration of Candace's burst by 3 seconds, allowing for a longer water infusion and a longer lasting basic attack buff. While this doesn't directly increase DPS, it usually does.indirectlyincreases DPS as it gives your team more room to make mistakes. This means that it can take the same damage, taking human error into account. A good combination of quality of life.
- - Penetrating Moonlight:When Candace uses her ability, her Max HP is increased by 20% for 15 seconds. This means that your max HP will always increase, since the cooldown of your ability is less than 15 seconds. Use +20% permanent HP!
- - Hunter's Request:Increases Candace's burst level by 3. This is a modest increase in her damage, and Candace needs all the help she can get.
- - Guardian's Oath:Reduces the cooldown of the Candace Hold version of her ability to match the Tap version of her ability. Unfortunately, this does not provide bonus damage and it is not recommended to keep your ability anyway.
- - Heterochromatic look:Increases Candace's skill level by 3. For Candace, talent levels are minimal buffs.
- - The overflow:deals additional instances of burst damage when someoneother than thatCandace is in the field. There are four damage events that occur every 2.3 seconds. This build doubles the damage output on his typical builds and is key to maximizing his damage potential.
The best teamwork options for Candace
Building a team for Candace largely depends on how she leverages her support resources. Earlier, I suggested several situations where Candace's Burst utility is useful.
Mono-Hydro-Equipment
Mono-Hydro teams mainly use synergistic units of the same element, as well as an Anemo character to reduce the Hydro resistance of enemies with the Viridescent Veneer artifact set. The advantage of mono elemental equipment is that they can charge energybatchessimpler, since elementary particles of the same element delivertriple benefitas particles of other elements.
In return, you sacrifice the power of reactions. as always hydropermittedReactions, rather than benefiting from them (due to the intricate details of the Elemental Indicators Theory), this sacrifice isn't as bad as one might think.
A good pick for a Hydro character who can capitalize on Candace's utility isXingqiu🇧🇷 Normally Xingqiu doesn't want to be on the field with basic attacks, but when his attacks are infused with hydro, he also gains a damage bonus from his Hydro DMG % rate.

XingqiumiForm, together they make a duo strong enough to take on any other teammate, so it's hard to go wrong here. If you don't have Yelan, maybe give it a try.ayatoinstead asayatohe uses his normal attacks frequently and can take advantage of the buff.Xingqiuhe is an excellent addition to the team, regardless of the rest of the team composition. Or opt for more healing powerkokomi.
Almost anyone will work for the Anemo unit!KazuhaIn most cases and for most rigs, it's easily the best option for an Anemo unit. Grants the most damage and utility buffs of any Anemo character. However, it cannot heal. When you need more healing than you provideXingqiu, afterCowboymisadthey are great healing options in Anemo.
Bloom/Team "Fridge"
Some Bloom teams, when using a Cryo character, are referred to as "fridge" teams by the theoretical community. This is because frozen enemies cause Dendro to lunge at an enemy for longer than normal, allowing you to summon more reactions. If you refrigerate your vegetables, they will last longer!
However, your team will need one of each item: Hydro, Dendro, Cryo, and Anemo. Candace will own our Hydro slot machine.
Kaeya and Rosaria are the best cryo characters for cryo damage and application, while Diona offers a shield and heal with less application. If you're not using a healer here, you know thatHaving a healer on a Bloom team is mandatory as Blooms hurt you too!So make sure your character Anemo or Dendro can heal, even though Dendro healers don't exist at the time of writing.
For your Dendro character, Collei and Dendro Traveler are pretty much interchangeable, though Dendro Traveler can take advantage of Candace's infusion and Collei can't. Both use Elemental Mastery to apply Dendro off the field and generate Reactions.
So the same suggestions apply to Anemo. Choose Kazuha, Jean, Sayu, or Sucrose depending on the team's needs. Venti is also exceptional at grouping enemies as close together as possible, allowing explosions to hit all enemies; This multiplies your total total damage.

Equipos Hyperbloom
Hyperbloom requires a Hydro character, a Dendro character, an Electro character, and an Anemo character. He creates Blooms with Candace and whatever Dendro units he combines them with, then uses an Electro character with high elemental mastery to hit the falling seeds with Electro.
Kuki Shinobu is one of the best Hyperbloom characters in Electro, as she also constantly heals the active character. He isn't always enough to heal on his own, but he is a valuable tool. His Elemental Mastery also contributes to his healing ability, and he is one of the few Electro characters that works well for building pure Elemental Mastery.
For Dendro, Dendro Traveler rules due to his ability to harness Candace's infusion. Collei is also comparable.
For Anemo, use Kazuha, Jean, Sayu, Sucrose, or Venti depending on whether you need pure damage, healing, or maximum crowd control and enemy grouping.
vaporize equipment
Vaporization is usually a Pyro character that deals extra damage to an enemy affected by Hydro. Pyro on Hydro allows more reactions than Hydro on Pyro in exchange for Hydro on Pyro doing more damage. For consistency, the default settings are usually High Hydro and Slow Pyro.
Candace alone is not enough to ensure that the Pyro DPS vaporizes the maximum number of hits, so it needs the help of Xingqiu, Yelan, or Kokomi.

After that, the best Pyro characters for a Candace team are the combination of Bennett and Xiangling. Bennett heals and inflicts a large ATK buff on all party members while also generating a lot of energy for the energy-hungry Xiangling. Xiangling does more damage than most 5-stars when her energy needs are met. and she doeswithout being in the field.Just like Yelan and Xingqiu, Bennett and Xiangling together can carry most of the other teammates.
freeze equipment
Freeze teams use Hydro, Cryo, and Anemo characters. The strategy is to immobilize enemies (and not damage them!) while a cryo DPS takes advantage of Blizzard Strayer's 4-piece artifact set, which adds up to 40% CRIT rating to the character when attacking frozen enemies.
Ayaka is the most well-known and consistent Cryo DPS on the field, though Ganyu is no slouch. For damage and/or utility off the field, it's good to run Kaeya, Rosaria, or Diona.
If you want to use a second Hydro unit instead of two Cryo units, the same characters as before are great options: Yelan, Xingqiu, Ayato, and Kokomi. Mona is also great at buffing up her teammates with her very useful burst, which allows them to deal bonus damage for a short time.
For Anemo units, the same characters are suitable here as for most other teams that need an Anemo character: Kazuha, Jean, Sayu, Sucrose, and Venti.
